Official Rules of Nebraska State Bank & Trust Co. Nature’s Full Spectrum Photo Contest

1. Eligibility & Location: All photos must be taken in Custer County, Nebraska**. The photographer/entrant does not need to reside in Custer County, Nebraska, but the photo must be of Custer County, Nebraska subject matter. Photographers of all ages are welcome and do not need to be a customer of Nebraska State Bank & Trust Co. to enter.
   **Exceptions may be made for pictures submitted by NSB customers that reside outside of Custer County.
2. Submission Period: Photos must be submitted between 12:00 a.m. on Monday, May 25, 2026 and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026. No photos will be accepted before or after this submission period.
3. Number of Submissions: Each entrant may submit up to fifteen (15) images; however, entrants must complete a separate submission form for each photograph entered.
4. Photograph Format: Photographs must be submitted in digital format, in color, and must be available in high-resolution format (300+ DPI or a minimum of 2880x3600 pixels) upon request. A lesser resolution may be submitted; however, the required high-resolution format must be available if the photo is selected.
   Camera phones generally do not meet the high-resolution standards referenced above. Entrants must submit the actual image file, not a link or other file type. If an image file is not readable, the entry will be disqualified.
5. Photograph Ownership: By entering, the entrant warrants that the photograph submitted is original, is the entrant’s own work, and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. The entrant further warrants that participation in this photo contest does not violate any agreement between the entrant and any third party.
6. Rights to Use Photographs: By entering the contest, all entrants grant Nebraska State Bank & Trust Co. (hereinafter “NSB”), and those authorized by NSB, an irrevocable, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce, and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any NSB purpose.
   This includes, but is not limited to, exhibition within any NSB branch or use in marketing materials. Any photograph reproduced for display within bank branches will include a photographer credit, if permitted by the photographer.
   Subject to the rights granted to NSB herein, entrants retain all copyrights and rights to future use of their submitted photographs.
7. Permission for Photos Including Recognizable People: If an entrant’s photograph includes a recognizable person or people, the entrant must secure written permission from each individual (or from a parent or guardian in the case of a minor) prior to submission.
   This permission must authorize use of the image for the photo contest and for subsequent use by NSB. Written releases must be available immediately upon request. NSB reserves the right to disqualify any entry if required permissions have not been secured.
8. Limitation of Liability: By entering this contest, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless NSB and its partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents, and their respective employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any and all claims, losses, or damages arising out of participation in this contest or any contest-related activities, including acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize.
9. Conditions: THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. The contest is governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the State of Nebraska, United States of America.
   
   To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants waive the right to litigate, seek injunctive relief, or pursue any other judicial or administrative remedies related to this contest.
   
   Entries may be deemed void if determined by NSB to be non-original, incomplete, inaccessible, corrupted, altered, counterfeit, produced in error, or obtained through fraud or theft.
   
   By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and acknowledge that all decisions made by the judging committee are final and binding.
   
   NSB reserves the right to verify eligibility, identity, and originality of all entries and entrants, and to disqualify any entry not in compliance with these Official Rules. Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of NSB’s rights.

Judging Criteria

After the close of the entry period on July 4, 2026, eligible photographs will be judged based on image content with a focus on landscapes, representation of Custer County, and suitability for display within NSB branches and marketing materials.

Preliminary judging will be conducted by a committee of NSB employees. The decisions of the committee are final and binding.

Photo Selection & Prizes

On or before July 31, 2026, NSB will notify each prize winner by email and/or telephone. A minimum of twenty-five (25) winning photos will be selected.

Winning photographs will be enlarged, professionally printed, and displayed in Nebraska State Bank & Trust Co. branches. Selected photographs may also be used in NSB marketing materials.

Entrants will receive $100 for each photograph selected, provided all eligibility requirements are met.

This photo contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Entrants are responsible for determining eligibility and complying with all contest rules. Any violation may result in disqualification.
