Yes. NSB mobile banking is free to use; however, standard text messaging and data rates from your mobile service provider may apply.

After taking pictures and submitting the deposit, keep the check in a safe place until you confirm that it has been properly credited to your account. Once confirmed, please shred or otherwise securely dispose of the check.

You can deposit up to $2,000 per check and a maximum of $5,000 per day. Higher limits may be available with bank officer approval.

You can deposit personal or business checks made payable to you, endorsed by you, drawn on a U.S. bank, payable in U.S. dollars, and dated within six months of the deposit date.

Deposits received by 4:00 pm Central Time on a business day will be credited to your account the same day. Deposits made after 4:00 pm, on weekends, or on federal holidays will be credited by the end of the next business day.

Before taking pictures of the check, please write “For Mobile Deposit Only,” your account number, and the date in the endorsement line. This will greatly decrease the chance of a possible “Failed” deposit.
